Top Australian recruitment agencies
The job of being a Mum is similar from one person to the next and nobody interviewed me, or tested my nappy changing speed, to ensure I was eligible for the role. The careers working mums follow are varied; Mum isn’t able to list the leading Australian recruitment firms for each business area. However, if you’re starting with a blank canvass, you’ll find Mum’s list of award winning recruiters very useful.
Careermums – Business woman of the year
Before we look at the winners of the Australian recruitment industry awards, Mum wants to mention Careermums. Careermums was a finalist of the 2010 Recruitment Excellence Awards (REAs). The Director of Careermums, Kate Sykes, won the 2010 Telstra Australian Capital Territory Business Woman of the Year. Careermums is Australia’s leading careers centre and jobs board for working parents and parents returning to work. If you’re looking for flexible working conditions, Careermums is the place to start.
Seek Annual Recruitment Awards (the SARAs)
In Top 10 Australian job search websites Mum included Seek, said to be Australia’s number one job site. It is apt then that when it comes to the top recruitment firms in Australia, Seek plays a role.
The SARAs have been running in Australia for eight years and claim to be the recruitment industry’s leading awards.
