Although Melbourne is often said to be the place to go in Australia for fashion retail therapy, Sydney was the place to be for shopaholics this week.

Ahgh! Shopping

When I learnt that Ikea has stores in Australia, I let out an audible sigh. Not a sigh of relief, more a sigh of reluctant acceptance that once again our home would be furnished by Ikea.

I should point out that I like Ikea products. Our extended family laughed at us because the two homes we lived in, in London, had the same sofas; bought several years apart, but exactly the same, even in colour.
